November Service Meeting

Parents and caregivers of multiples are welcome to join us on Wednesday, November 17th for our November monthly meeting.  Each November, Double Love dedicates this meeting to a service project.  This year, we will be supporting Phil’s Friends by packing boxes that will be distributed to people who have cancer.  We are providing the manpower to pack and organize the items for these care packages.  We will be packing some of the following items in the boxes:

We will be packing on Wednesday, November 17, starting at 7:00 pm.  (Please note, this is one week earlier due to Thanksgiving than our normal meeting date.) We will meet at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 101 N. Spring St. in Elgin.  The meeting will be held in the building by the corner of Spring & Division, not in the gym where we hold our clothing sale.

In addition to the care packages, you and your children are welcome to make Cards of Hope.  Please visit the Cards of Hope website https://philsfriends.org/cards-of-hope/

for instructions and templates for creating these cards. You may bring your completed cards with you the night of the meeting.

If you are interested in making a fleece blanket to donate, please see the instructions and video below.
